Hello—
If you haven’t previously ordered from me, here are a
few details. I offer electronics builders NOS (new old stock) semiconductors, electronic and RF components. If you don't see
what you need, e-mail me your want list. Quantities of some items are limited, so please inquire for availability and postage
before ordering. I do my best to reply to all e-mail, but if your e-mail account uses SpamCop or another spam-blocking filter,
my response to your e-mail inquiry may not make it past the filters.
If you purchase NOS tubes or components and find them unsatisfactory upon your inspection, you can
return items in as-received condition at your expense for a refund of the purchase price or for replacement (if available)
within 14 days. This material is subject to prior sale and is supplied as-is, as new-old-stock (NOS) merchandise unless otherwise
stated, with all responsibility for safe and successful application residing solely with the purchaser.
Specifications for many items are available on request.
I use the U. S. Postal System for shipment, and many small-quantity,
small-item orders can ship via first-class mail at modest cost. Please inquire for postage to Canada or to overseas destinations.
I honor PayPal, personal checks, and bank- or USPS-issued money orders as payment.
This list supplements and overlaps previous lists. Newly listed items include double-double (not a typo) balanced mixers; VC/TCXOs; high-voltage transistors;
and a plethora of surface-mount goodies.

Connecting electrolytic caps in series for higher-voltage operation?
Don't forget to shunt each capacitor with a voltage-equalizing resistor. Unfortunately, carbon composition resistors' values
can drift with age and heat, and smaller wattages are rated for only 350 or 250 volts.
As a better alternative, these flame-proof
metal-oxide film resistors can withstand overloads that make carbon comps go up in smoke.
Only one value is available:
100K ohms +/-5%; rated for 5 watts dissipation at 25 C, or 3 watts dissipation at 70 C. Maximum working voltage is 500 VDC,
or 4.5KV peak pulse. Temperature coefficient of resistance is +/- 100 ppm typical, +/-200 ppm maximum. Complete
specifications
are available on request. Dimensions are 0.95 inches long by 0.32 inches diameter. The leads are 0.031 inches in dia. (approx.
AWG #20). Buy 8 pieces for only $1.00

Cap Kit 1 Axial-leaded film-dielectric capacitors orig. m’fd. for AT&T; values of these randomly-assorted
caps are mostly 1.0 uF and 2.0 uF, of 10 percent tolerance and rated for 100 VDC but mixed with a few one-percent values.
Lead lengths are 0.625 in. (formed for PC-board insertion) or longer. Cross-sectional shapes are either flattened oval or
round. Sold by weight: you get a one-pound package of approximately 250 pieces for $6.00.
Cap Kit 2 GOOD NEWS! Radial-leaded silver-mica capacitors. BAD NEWS! Not exactly assorted. AGNEWS! The predominant values
available in this batch are 499 pF and 20.5 pF,
+/- 1 percent tolerance.
Most feature full-length (1.5-inch) leads. Sold by weight: you get 4
ounces, or over 100 pieces
for $3.00. Buy a Glutton For Punishment Pack: one pound for $10.00!
Resistor Rat’s Nest Kit 1: Buy a one-pound package that contains randomly assorted, mixed resistors and includes precision metal-film, wirewound,
thick film, and even a few carbon comp resistors. Most have full-length leads and some are formed for PC-board insertion.
The resistors are entangled and await sorting—hence the “rats’ nest”. (No actual rats were involved
in, or injured in, the preparation of these assortments). Buy a one-pound package for $3.00 plus postage.

Belden Conformable (tm) 50-Ohm Coaxial Cable p/n 1671A This semi-rigid
cable features an outer diameter of 0.084 inches, 100 percent copper-tin composite
shield coverage, Teflon (tm) center dielectric, and a AWG #24 silver-plated,
copper-covered steel center conductor. Rated for 105 C ambient, AWM style 10245
and similar to RG-405 (M17/133D).
Available in short custom-cut lengths up to 10 feet or longer at $.30 per foot,
or as a factory-packaged 1000-foot spool for $100.00 plus postage for 12 pounds.
As with all Teflon (tm)-insulated wire and cable, a "1000-foot" spool may contain
multiple lengths totaling 1000 feet. First purchaser of a full spool gets to choose
spools for number and length contents.
Applications include shielded grid-lead wire in tube equipment or as gimmick caps at 29.5 pF per
foot, winding exotic inductors and making single-turn loop antennas
Notes
-----
To get an idea how much wire you'll need to rewind a coil, measure the coil's
diameter and multiply by 3.14 to get the length of a turn. Then, multiply
by the number of turns to get the total length (allow a few inches extra for
making external connections).
If you need longer lengths of wire or more information, please contact me.

Relays
*******
P40P47A12P NOS
Potter & Brumfield four-pole, single-throw normally-open contactors.
These relays are rated for 120 VAC coil power and feature contacts rated for 50 amperes
resistive at 600 VAC, or 40 amperes inductive (motor) loads. For motors, the contacts
are rated are 5 HP at 120 V three-phase, or 15 HP at 440/600 VAC. P&B expects a
200,000-operation contact life at full-rated load; contacts are field-replaceable using
P&B kit 9P40X2 (not included). Coil inrush power is 92 VA; 12 VA activated (contacts
closed). Everyone nearby knows when one of these puppies activates-- it’s loud! Specs. Available.
Buy these NOS relays for $4.00 each plus postage for two pounds per relay. Only 4 left!
